Our Mission

The Desert Communities Chapter of the worldwide Association of Fundraising Professionals
advances philanthropy by enabling people and organizations to practice effective and ethical fundraising.The core activities through which the chapter fulfills this mission include education
and training, promoting credentialing, providing resources for fundraising effectiveness,
networking, mentoring, advocacy 
and recognition of philanthropy.

SALARY RANGE: $106,045-$171,124 annually based on demonstrated competencies Reporting to the Director of the Department of Public Social Services, the Executive Director for the Children and Families Commission provides management oversight to the operation and utilization of resources in the achievement of the goals of the Department of Public Social Services (DPSS) and the Riverside County Children and Families Commission (RCCFC), as outlined in the RCCFC Strategic Plan. This position also receives policy guidance and direction from the RCCFC and the RCCFC Chairperson.
